MEI-LIN YEE

When diagnosed with mBC, Mei-Lin went into autopilot mode. However, following the initial shock of the diagnosis, the Mom of three realized that what was most important to her was trying her best to keep life the way she has known it and loved it to be. This has meant finding her unique role as an advocate for the mBC community, maintaining her career as a lawyer, and never wavering on her commitment as a true Habs fan. But most of all, Mei-Lin continued to live life, with her husband Robert and children, François, Gabriel and Li-Mei by her side.

“If there's one thing life with metastatic breast cancer has taught me, it's that life is a gift, and every day should be lived to the fullest. That's why, when I wake up in the morning, no matter what challenges come my way, I know that no matter what happens, it's going to be a great day.”
